In Hebrews, chapter eleven, verse one, it reads, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Later, in verse three, it says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.” Hebrews chapter one is a powerful faith chapter that talks about Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and Moses. It talks about “Now Faith,” not tomorrow faith, but now, meaning: No Opportunity Wasted…. that is N.O.W. Faith.
It doesn’t matter what giants we have in our life, what sickness or sin we may be struggling with, it is N.O.W. time for the Church of God to not waste any opportunity that has been afforded to us. As Franklin Graham said, “You can take a stand for God, and God will bless that. God will use that.”
It’s not time to hide our lights under a bushel. God needs a vessel; He needs a Mary Magdalene, a Peter, a James and a John. The apostle Paul used his Roman citizenship to declare the gospel to the world, and went so far as to lose his head doing it. That’s how committed Paul was. What God needs is for the Believers and the Body of Christ to come together in such a way that we are not ashamed; and we are not intimidated. It doesn’t matter what attacks come after the Church of the Living God. God is still in control. We should stop wasting the opportunities that have been given us out of fear, because God is still King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
What our nation needs more than anything is the touch of His favor. This nation was founded on the Judeo-Christian principles of Biblical truth. The Founding Fathers preached and believed what is in the Constitution because they were teaching it years before the Declaration of Independence was ever signed. All it takes is one man, one woman, one child, one person to make a difference in the world, and the lives of others. It doesn’t require a committee or a new outreach program, just men and women who have N.O.W. Faith. All He needs is you.
